English Editor Wanted

Hukumonline English Newsroom is seeking for an Editor to edit and proof read English written articles on recently issued laws and regulations in the area of General Corporate, Financial Services, Manufacturing & Industry, Oil & Gas, Telecommunication & Media, and also Corporate Litigation.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

Edit daily, weekly, and monthly publication of the following articles:

• Legal News – a 500 to 800 words article on current legal issues
• Indonesian Legal Brief (ILB) – a 500 to 1,000 words article that briefly describe recently issued laws and regulations.
• Indonesian Law Digest (ILD) – a 3,000 to 7,000 words article that comprehensively analyze certain practice areas, legislation, and landmark decisions. 
• Monthly Law Review (MLR) – a 5,000 to 7,000 words article that briefly describe numerous newly issued regulations.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must be proficient in English, being a native speaker would be an advantage.
• Have proficiency in Indonesian language will be an advantage.
• Have superb writing skills and editing experience.
• Have legal educational background or work experience in the legal or publication industry will be highly regarded. 
• High degree of professionalism, flexibility, and ability to work under pressure
• Reliability in meeting deadlines
