Seradesy Sumardi is a senior legal executive with more than 25 years of experience in corporate law, compliance, risk management, and data protection. She currently serves as Chief Legal Officer and Data Protection Officer at L’Oréal Indonesia, where she provides strategic legal counsel, supports corporate governance, and helps manage legal and regulatory risks within the organization.

Her career spans a broad range of multinational and corporate environments. Prior to joining L’Oréal Indonesia in 2021, she served as Vice President, Head of Legal at Lazada E-Logistics from 2019 to 2021. She previously held senior in-house legal roles as Country Legal Counsel at 3M Indonesia, Country Legal at Schneider Electric, Legal Counsel at Mondelez Indonesia, Legal Counsel at Nokia Solutions Networks, Legal Manager at Komatsu Indonesia, and Legal Manager at Lafarge Cement Indonesia. Earlier in her career, she worked as an Associate at KarimSani Firm and was also involved in academic and language teaching activities.

In addition to her corporate responsibilities, Seradesy has played an active role in the development of the in-house legal profession in Indonesia and the wider Asia-Pacific region. She currently serves as President of the Indonesia Corporate Counsel Association (ICCA) and Secretary-General of the Asia Pacific Corporate Counsel Association (APCCA). She is also an Advisory Board Member of ILUNI FHUI for the 2025–2028 term and a Member of the Board of Experts of PERADI Rumah Bersama Advokat (RBA).

Her professional work has received recognition from several legal and industry platforms. She was included in The Legal 500 Southeast Asia GC Powerlist in 2024 and 2025, recognized by Hukumonline as one of Indonesia’s Most Respected In-House Counsel Leaders and as part of the In-House Counsel Elite in 2024–2025, and named Most Inspiring Leader in Regulatory Compliance for Trade (Wholesale & Retail) in 2026.
